<p>Re-bound have taken a lease on Unit 8 Boleyn Court.  Re-Bound Products Ltd are a new business that produce 100% recycled rubber chippings for use on children’s playgrounds and in flower beds and so on, Re-Bound Products Ltd will also be releasing 2 new products in Mid September . </p>
<p>Syntor Fine Chemicals Ltd have also taken two units at Boleyn Court.  Syntor Fine Chemicals Ltd develop and supply fine chemicals to the Pharmaceutical, agrochemical, aroma and electronic industries. </p>
<p>Despite the economic downturn, businesses are still looking for commercial property and Manor Park has proved to be an area of choice for many businesses. </p>

<p>First Investments decided to try something new and take part in the Logistics Link Live 2011.  The event is one of the largest Logistics events in the UK and this year had a 13% increase in core visitor numbers and offered over 100 exhibitors and numerous seminars.  This year’s Logistic Link Live event ran alongside Subcon which is the international subcontract and manufacturing show which also brought in increased visitors and exhibitors.</p>
<p>First Investments were well received at the show and had a very prominent position at the show and made some exciting new contacts.</p>
<p>First Investments are now looking at other exhibitions/events to take part in.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Acting on behalf of First Investments Ltd Loveday and Loveday have let Unit 2, Lynton Road on the Cheney Manor Industrial Estate to Toolstation for their first unit in Swindon. The unit of approximately 5,000 sq ft has been let on a 10 year lease and is now open and successfully trading to the public.</p>
<p>Toolstation who are already one of the UK’s largest multi-channel suppliers of building and construction products  have a rapidly expanding portfolio of trade counter outlets  throughout the UK now totalling in excess of 80.</p>
<p>Alastair Andrews, a partner at Commercial Property Agents Loveday &amp; Loveday commented, “Toolstation will be a significant new occupier to both Swindon and the Lynton Road development at Cheney Manor.  Their range of products and reputation for excellent value for money will be of enormous appeal to local trades and I expect them to do extremely well in this location.</p>
<p>Philip MacLauchlan of Adept Consultancy who advised Toolstation commented, “We are looking forward to opening in the town as part of our ongoing strategy to open 2 or 3 new trade counters every month throughout the UK”.</p>

<p>People in Belper, Derbyshire, were given a once-in-a-lifetime  opportunity this autumn, thanks to national property investment and  management company, First Investments.</p>
<p>On 24th October, for one day only, the fifth and sixth floors of First  Investments&#8217; East Mill, Belper&#8217;s most famous landmark, were open to the  public for the first time since the mill was established in 1912.</p>
<p>The opportunity presented visitors with the chance to see inside the  iconic building, and to enjoy magnificent views of the town.</p>
<p>Visitors were also able to buy produce from local stall holders, who had been invited to set up within the building.</p>
<p>Belper has been recognised as part of the Derwent Valley Mills World  Heritage Site, and the open day was part of the annual Discovery Day  programme.</p>
<p>Heritage site coordinator, local author and historian, Adrian Farmer, described the event as a &#8220;massively exciting opportunity&#8221;.</p>
<p>Tim Knowles, managing director of Chorley based First Investments, which  is itself based in a historic mill building &#8211; Botany Bay &#8211; said: &#8220;It  was a genuine pleasure to be able to offer local people the chance to  see inside one of our most historic properties.&#8221;</p>

<p>In the face of the current economic climate, “Air Link” continue to grow  and expand; now renting 34% of the space at Hay Hall Works, Tyseley,  owned by First Investments.</p>
<p>Air Link  first approached First Investments in 2008, with regards to  taking the 15th Century Manor House at Hay Hall Business Park as their  head office.</p>
<p>Air Link continued to grow and in January 2009, negotiations started on  the possibility of taking a 96,684 sq ft warehouse, but the unit was in  an unlettable state, due to the previous tenants who had gone into  liquidation.</p>
<p>First Investments carried out an extensive project of works, including-</p>
<ul>
<li> New Floor</li>
<li> Totally re cladding the building</li>
<li> New electric roller doors installed</li>
<li> New surfaced trailer yard</li>
<li> New toilet block</li>
<li> Extensive roof repairs</li>
<li> New Gutters and drainage</li>
<li> On completion of the works, a 3 year lease was agreed.</li>
</ul>
<p>Air Link , were growing at great strengths which resulted in a letting  of March this year, for 6,000 sq ft of office space at the Redfern  suites.</p>
<p>Due to the prime location, and the site being in good condition, Hay Hall is now a thriving Industrial estate.</p>
