Botany Bay

The First Investments property management team have been managing Botany Bay since 1995. The mill was formerly a derelict Victorian Cotton Mill located adjacent to the M61 motorway. Following a major phased capex project the mill was converted into the hybrid tourist and retail attraction which attracts 350,000 visitors a year. The main building comprises five floors extending to 107,000sqft, together with a 10,000 sq ft Garden Centre, Children’s Play Area and two Restaurants.

Within the property are approx 360 tenants on licence agreements,. The tenants occupy small units which are unmanned with the Botany Bay Operational Department manages the tenant’s sales via pay counters. This saves tenants costs of running a high street retail unit.

Bygone Times

First Investments property management team have been managing Bygone Times since 1995. Bygone Times is a similar set up to Botany Bay, however their tenants are a niche market of antiques and collectables. Over 180 tenants on licence agreements, occupying small pitches. There is also an on-site Garden Centre and Café.

The premises consist of a single storey mill constructed around 100 years ago.
